3D Creations creative team are set builders and designers working in any material. Theatre scenery and stage sets is our speciality but we have extensive experience in all sorts of projects and environments.  Large or Small scale theatre productions we will take the same care and attention to detail on all our commissions large or small.

Sleeping Beauty, Birmingham Hippodrome 2009, QDOS Pantomines

Ian Westbrook has designed this new set for the largest pantomime in the UK. Our dedicated team installed over 12,000 meters of fibre optics into the new Portals based on the Victorian Gothic style of architecture; this set of Portals creates a multicoloured star field to rival most productions of its type. Michael Harrison Directs & Produces  this new production for Qdos Entertainment starring Joe Pasquale.

All the Fun of the Fair (Tour)

A new musical by Jon Conway &  David Essex  touring the UK. prior to a West End run.  The sets and props were all made in our workshops and Ian Westbrook the Associate Designer on this show put extra details into the sets such as authentic 1970s side stall signs and sweets on the Candy Floss cart dodgems and carousel horses.


Cinderella - Qdos Theatre Productions

A new show Designed by Ian Westbrook and built in our workshops. This new Pantomime opened at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford for the 2008 Christmas season and is then booked for seasons at Newcastle, Birmingham, Plymouth and Edinburgh over the next few years.

Michael Flatley's Feet of Flames - Work in Progress

The giant metal and fibreglass door panels that were used on the "Feet of Flames" world tour set.  Here is work  being done in our workshops and rehearsal shots at Elstree Film Studios main sound stage, we made all the props and set decorations.


Eddie - Wicker Man

Created for Iron Maiden's World Arena Tour, several Eddie's were built ranging in size up to 20ft in height. We have created various "Eddie" monsters over the years, along with a few of the stage "walking Eddies".

Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends

Work in progress of the railway engine sheds in our workshops and in rehearsal at Elstree Film Studios, near London. We were responsible for creating the buildings, which were made from metal frames and then clad in fibreglass.


Proof

Technical drawing from "Proof" by Norman Coates, we constructed the set from these drawings.


1. History of the Romans for BBC Education. Set and props were designed and made by 3D Creations.
2. "Book of the Banshi" UK Touring Set designed and produced by 3D Creations for the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford.
3. Set for the opera "Miss Julie" Designed and manufactured  for PW-Theatre Productions.


A Celebration of Nelson for the 2000 Millenium Commision. All the structures on this 100 ft wide stage  was designed, manufactured and erected by 3D Creations in house team.


This is sculptured from clay and then cast in silicone rubber. The finished caryatid stands 4 ft high and is used for any of our more fanciful scenic embellishments, such as door surrounds stern sections of Pirate ships, or fire places.
