Sangre

Directed by Redha Benteifour and starring Karen Ruimy. This is a set we built and assisted with the design produced  by Santiago Tato Fernandez.

Riverside Studios Hammersmith, London was the venue for the show which is hoped will  transfer to the West End. As part of the design we had to create a set of fake flywheels and pulleys that hauled very large sand bags over the stage. These had to be stabbed with a sword to release the fine sand and slowly lower the bags in time with the music. A distressed set of doors with stained glass window panels also lowered to the floor as if by magic. All props including a filthy slipper bath were made in house for this show.
