Snow White Cottage – London Palladium – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

This shot was taken on stage during the fit up. We designed and built all the set in the show but this was a monster Cottage, weighing almost 900Kg and flown on four motorised winches. It had illuminated windows, a working water wheel, and the windows and doors all opened for the cast to appear through. We used a Polyurea spray coating over carved polystyrene that saved not only on weight but both fire retardant and bullet proof in strength.
