Go Go Gorillas – On-site setup

We were commissioned to create the top section of the Empire State building with King Kong at the top to launch this event outside the Odeon cinema. The structure stands 6.5 m high with our King Kong at the top, sculptured by 3D Creations Mark Keene. With designs by Ian Westbrook and Ben Andrews, we digitally printed onto PVC material and stretched over our timber frames. Two tonnes of sand ballast was used inside to keep the tower from toppling over.
